Domestic Short Hair : : Female (spayed) Interested in adopting?
Just WAIT till you hear about the local celebrity, Rosie. You will love this amazing story and you can be her next chapter. She went slightly viral in December when the call went out to bring her inside. (No, Rosie is not providing autographs at this time). Rosie spent her first eight years without a home and lived mostly alone, hiding under cars and bushes and in the forests of Hatboro near an apartment complex. Dedicated volunteers fed her, pet her, socialized her, played with her, brought her inside (whenever they could), and even paid for her vet bills. After these 8 years, Rosie put in her 2-week notice as an outside cat and retired to live the inside life (rumor has it that she walked into the trap willingly). She’s now in foster care and thriving like the celebrity she is! She loves her new pink cat bed, sleeping on the human bed, rolling in catnip, and hogging the pillow when you let her (FYI: she prefers the thick but softer pillows). I hope you’re a back sleeper because she also likes to sleep on your chest. Rosie is a loving companion with a more pronounced purr than a top fuel dragster from a pit lane. Save your phone battery as she’ll provide the white noise you need to drift to sleep quickly. Rosie is a petite female black and orange tabby with green eyes and the nickname “Meow Meow”. She is approximately 8 lbs (maybe slightly more, but not much). Her vision is obstructed in one eye, but the eye is healthy thanks to her consistent vet care. Rosie is vaccinated, spayed, and ready to hog that pillow. Foster Notes: Because of her sight impairment and her history of being outside, she is shy. Rosie loves her petting sessions and is incredibly affectionate, but she isn’t comfortable being picked up (at least, she has not been in the short time she’s been in foster care). She will do best in a quieter home without other pets or young children. A patient adopter is the best fit, as Rosie will benefit from some decompression time. As a local celebrity, Rosie’s fan base will welcome news about her milestones and new home. Be that next chapter and bring Rosie to her forever home.
