Brotherly love in action. Meet 2 year old MaiTai and MeowMeow. These two black coated cuties love each other’s company and will sometimes walk tail in tail when they are very happy. Having been on their own as kittens they are now socialized but might need some time to feel comfortable in a new environment.

As his name implies MeowMeow is the talkative one who loves to chat and will call to see where you are. He is curious and once he gets to know you he will be looking to find your lap or just be near you. Give him a toy mouse to fetch or a string toy to chase and he is happy. But quiet time looking out the window is also a favorite past time.

MaiTai on the other hand is the quiet brother. He will occasionally make a “broken “ meow which sounds like a mouse “eek, eek”. This boy is on the shy and thoughtful side. He enjoys a nice brushing and playing with a laser pointer. Once Meow Meow likes you though, MaiTai will also be your friend and want to fit into your lap or be next to you.

Both these cats do well with other cats but likely not well with dogs. A house with older children who will let them adjust would also be fine.

If you have a place in your heart and your home for two loveable brothers Please apply to take them home today at https://www.hart2heartanimalrescue.com/forms/form?formid=6527

Is Not Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Special Needs: 09/04/2024- Per Steph, both Meow-Meow and Mai Tai are having handling challenges. "MaiTai allows you to pick him up, though he's a bit wary about it, while Meow-Meow doesn't. He'll slip out of your grip quite easily and panic if restrained,"

Meow-Meow must be adopted with her sister, Mai-Tai (available for adoption).
Meow-Meow's sister, Mai-Tai (available for adoption) can also be seen on our website.
